Welcome to The Turkish International Model United Nations Website
The students and teachers of Uskudar American Academy welcome you to the Turkish International Model United Nations home page. This year 2008, is the 15th year of TIMUN, sponsored by Uskudar American Academy.
Our program is officially affiliated with The Hague International MUN Program and as such there is a high standard of debate in English and an adherence to correct procedures.
Located in the ancient town of Scutari (Uskudar), on the Asian side of Istanbul, Uskudar American Academy attends the Hague International Model United Nations sessions annually. It also hosts its own conference, the Turkish International Model United Nations conference (TIMUN) annually.
| The New Executive Committee We are happy to announce that the new PGA is Alara Unuvar, and the SG is Duygu Camlidere. The new Training Coordinators are Arda Sener and Dogan Gidon. Hazal Muhtar is our Conference Coordinator. The experienced Information Technologist Alperen Degirmenci handed his position over to Batuhan Eskicioglu. |
